I have some Top Gear videos (the TV episodes) that I've downloaded and I really would like to put them on a DVD.

How can I do it?

I've tried Nero Recode and its fantastic, but it converts into MP4 (I think?) and so doesnt play on the DVD Player I have (a rather old Pioneer DV626D) so what can I do?

I'd love to get one series onto one DVD Disc, is this gonna be possible?

Can someone please help me!! 🙂
 
I have only two options in Recode:

Recode DVD's and Videos to Nero Digital
Recode Main Movie to Nero Digital

They dont have an option to change an AVI or MPEG 2 into something that will work on a DVD player or am I missing a option?

I do like the Recode program.... 🙂 Where it has, Nero Digital Profile, where it has AVC by the profiles, what do they mean?
 
which version of recode do you have? In version 2 (which is part of nero 7) there are 5 options. The 2 you listed plus 3 more for dvd's.
 
Reemmber that not all DVD playes suppoer DVD+R and DVD-R. It's hit and miss. So, if at first ou don't succeed, try the other type of disk out.
 
Get TMPGenc, use the wizard for NTSC DVD conversion, make it save to seperate files, leave the PC for a while. Open IFOEdit, make a new DVD. Burn the IFO's, BUP's and VOB's to a DVD with Nero or something.
 
I thought I might have to go and buy another piece of software which isnt a problem.. I'm sure I'll manage for the moment 🙂

I have a Pioneer DVR 111 so I think it supports both, but as to the DVD player connected to the TV, I understand fully.
