how do i convert wmv files to vcd format

WMV files are usually compressed to the point that it's worse quality than what you're used to seeing on tv (VCD/VCR/etc.) ... don't know why you'd want to see it on a tv. Maybe you have some good ones...

At any rate, TMPGenc should be able to do it... according to DVDrhelp.

Bink Video works pretty well for me, and it's freeware.

Go to the sector of the hard drive where the live, get them to open their virtual door, and evangelize (that is how may try to convert, no?)

Explain to them how Bill Gates is really the devil, that Windows is his tool of spreading evil, leave a copy of the "multimedia standards watchtower" and persuade them to come accept the new standards as "the light, the truth, and the way"
