How do I convert a old DOS game to use on Win 98 ?

I forgot how to create a MS-DOS 'gateway' icon on desktop for my old 'Lemmings' game on CD rom. Can someone type the exact procedure to create this so-called gateway for this old favorite game for my Windows 98SE ? Thanx, Weber

Just create a link to the .exe or .bat program that starts the game. right click on desktop, new, shortcut....
