how do i construct a frequency distribution

how do i construct a frequency distribution from a bunch of data?
does it mean a graph?

this is for a lab report so knowing how do to it isnt really what the marks are for, its just that i have to have it.

you can get what you need done in Excel, from the tools menu. and Data analysis tab. If I remember from stats class a frequency distribution is just that, a graph of the data with a typical bell curve type shape and most of the data being within two standard deviations of the median.

all or part of the above could be totally or partially incorrect, actually there is a probability of 97 % that parts of it are incorrect.
