Don't seem to be anybody! But my HiFi system is practically next to my computer so I use a cable to link it up. But from what I have heard from friends these wireless transfers lack quality. But the quality lack is only minir and only the really tuned sound system fanatics will spot that. What I will say is go ahead try it! And if it messes up, well hand it back to the shop and get a re-fund if you don't like it! Or keep it if you do like it!

I used to use the X10 MP3 ANYWHERE system to transmit the analog out of my sound card to my stereo via 2.4 ghz. It worked OK, but sound quality wasn't anything spectacular. Luckily, my stereo is now close enough that i can run a direct RCA cable from the digital out of my sblive! to the coaxial digital in of my receiver, therefore getting me MUCH better sound quality (pretty much no loss). unfortunately, i doubt you're that lucky to have your stereo that close, so YES, those wireless systems DO work, you just have to figure out if you think the sound quality is OK.

I am a bit of a fanatic, my stereo is worth more than my car, so I am interested in finding out if any of the wireless solutions can do so without any sound degredation.

Well I only use a cable connect so I don't know about Wireless. But I agree with Sohcrates. The quality will lack because it is being send over the air and that could mess around with the quality and signal. And byt eh way hwta HiFi set up you got? Sounds big! Very big!

Set up is Legacy speakers.
Go to Legacy
They ask for a log in. I have no idea why. Simply type in "legacy" as the log in, then "quality" as the Password.

Anyway, I am certain that the signal can be transmitted without lose if a digital format is used, but, who is doing such?

can't say that i've ever seen something that wirelessly transmits digital audio for consumers...at least nothing reasonable. everything we've been talking about is for transmitting the analog out of the sound card. and if that's what you're wondering about, then as i mentioned I HAVE done it in the past using that x10 setup and the sound quality is only so-so.
