How do I connect my comptuer to stereo with no cords?

I need a device to plug into my headphone jack on my computer and somehow send a signal to my receiver to play mp3's that are on my computer (without cable cords). I saw one once that did this and it seemed very useful. Does anybody know anything about these devices or even know what they are called? Thanks for any help.
 
i dunno, if its just mp3 maybe its cheaper and easier for u to get a cheap portable mp3 player and connect that to ur stereo
 
x10 makes one too, it works very well. i'm currently looking for one that uses 802.11b, but my only option so far is a $300 hewlett packard box 🙁
