How do I connect multifunction device to computer?

I already have a printer using the parallel port. Can I just get a centronics to serial and connect it to the serial port? It's an HP 725 OfficeJet. I think. Should I just go buy a parallel pci card? Any ideas?

shoulda went USB. pci parralell card. or do they make serial to parralell adapters?
