How do I connect a Direct Way two way satellite dish with high speed internet from a USB connector to a network?

Direct Way Satallite two way service tells me that the service from the satellite dish comes in via a USB cable. They say that the cable has to be connected to a computer. How do I network 6 more computers to this computer to get high speed internet service on all computers and a LAN. Can I connect a USB cable to a router and network all computers from there. Can I go from the NIC in the computer with the dish USB connection to a WAN port on the router? How is this done? Thanks.

A friend of mine got this service and at the time I was shopping for broadband (have fixed wireless now, works great!) but found that it was unsuitable for games because of the horrendous ping times. She also mentioned that they told her you can't just connect the service to a router since it needs the software loaded on a PC to work. (Why I don't know!) Anyway I don't have a solution for you just thought I'd mention what my friend said since it is related.

I also wonder about this same thing. DirecWay does not have a routable ip so you can't just run this into a router. You have to hook it up to the internet and use windows software to make the computer be the host and serve the internet to the other computers. I do not know how to do this but would like to learn or get a link.

Direct Way told me that up to 5 computers could be networked from the one PC with the USB dish connection, but they could not tell me how to do it either. Thanks for the comments.

Thank you very much Smooth. That was a great link. Now do you know if I can network up to 7 computers together using this method. Thanks.

Smooth, do you also know how I physically cable these computers together. Do I go from the computer with the USB satellite connection, to a hub, then to the other six computers? That would be better than installing 2 NIC's in each PC, or is there another way I have not thought of. Thanks.
