How do I configure my S-Video

How does this work?

I have a s-video out on my card,,,i have a s-video on my television.

But how do i get it to work?

or better yet,,,what does it do?

Do I use my television as a monitor?,,,I have no idea what this is for,,,enilghten me

Yes, you could use it for that but it is mainly for playback of DivXs or DVDs on your computer. Get a DVD ROM, then you can play DVDs through your computer.

Just plug it in and set your TV to Vid...bingo your Vid card will prolly ask you to enable it

You may need to go into the advanced button on the settings tab of your Display properties to configure it. Quality is very poor compared to your monitor. I would consider it a novelty more than anything. The cheapest dvd player you can possibly find will look 10x better than watching through the computer and s-video cable.
