How do I clear the CMOS on a DFI mobo?

I've been having some problems with my mx518 and I saw while searching google that clearing the CMOS might help so how do I do this exactly?

You are going to want to check your owner's manual... they will have the instructions listed in there. Basically there is going to be a jumper on the board that you will move from say pins 1-2 to 2-3 and leave it there for about 10 seconds, then you move it back to pins 1-2. The owner's manual will tell you exactly where to find it and what to do.

ok thanks I lost my manual guess I' gunna have to search for it online I'm hearing 2 things the jumper cable and removing the batteries but thanks!

yes, removing the battery will also do it... sometimes they are hard to get out without a screw driver so the jumper option is safer. DFI should have the manual for your board on their website, so it shouldnt be too hard to find it.

Yeah they said I could do so by just hold insert while turning on the computer which I just tried but Im not sure it worked. I might try to do it with the jumpers but if that doesn't work I'm going to tend to think its my mouse.
