Monitors have a non-glare and anti-static coating. I recommend you use water with a mild soap or alcohol solvent with a soft cloth like gauze or a baby diaper to clean the monitor screen. Never use abrasive, glass cleaner containing highly concentrated ammonia or strong base chemicals. They WILL damage the surface treatment.

Good Luck

I just put mine in the dish washer to clean it...laugh!

If you still have your monitor manual, it should tell you what and what not to use. I just used watered down Windex on mine.

Cheers!

My manual says do not use water but wtf am I suppose to use then? I would rather use water then some glass cleaner. I posted a while back on this and most people said just to use a water and SOFT cloth or a mild soap solution and cloth.
