how do I clean my LCD properly?

I did a search but no real answers. since everyone is now the owner of an LCD what method do you use to clean the thing when you little cousin puts his thumb print all over the thing?

just use a towel and water. it'll work fine. just make sure you dont make the towel too drippy tho. and NEVER use anything with ammonia, like windows cleaner. that will take off the anti-glare coating from the lcd.

You can pick up LCD ESD wipes at your local Best Buy and/or CompUSA.

Razor blade? Are you kidding? That'll damage the screen.

Use sand paper instead. Preferably something in the range of 40-60 grit. 😛

I use Kensington Screen Guardian. It'a made for notebook screens, so it works pretty well.

I got one of those 3M Screen Cleaner pkgs that come with a spray and cloth material
