How do I clean hard water stains (calcium stains)?

I'm redoing my bathroom and the shower control(hot/cold knobs), faucet, etc is all messed up from hardwarter stains. I bought new parts but would rather not replace what I know already works. I tried one bathroom cleaing product on it with no luck.

Any way to clean the stains off?

I'm pretty sure they are the stains caused by hard water. And I really would like to hear a success story. Not a google link 😉

Scrub with vinegar.

CLR, Limeaway, and soaking in vinegar all work pretty well. Not all together, just pick one😉

CLR or Lime-Away are what I've been told work well.

For calcium, lime and rust, Lime-away is a must!

This stuff works in a pinch, actually it works better imo.
