How do I clean a CD?

As in buff the back of the CD so that all the scratches are removed. What chemicals would I need to use and procedures? Any suggestions?

A little chemical called
Dihydrogen monoxide. Real hard to get.

I use a tissue paper... or if you have like lens cleaners or soemthing. Something that wont tare as easily.

I dunno about scratches, but I've brought cruddy ones back to life with ivory soap and water, rub with fingers from center to edge, not in a circle. Pat dry with toilet tissue
