How do I check my video card temperature?

Hi. I have a notebook with an ATi HD 4850 (mobility).

I was curious to see what the temperature was when running various programs and to see if the extra fans I bought help keep it cooler. I find it odd that there wasn't anything under the Catalyst Control Center for temperature.

It used to be a feature but now if it is there I am unable to find it.

Help appreciated.

Thanks!

Under the Catalyst Control Center. The temperature will be under the Overdrive section. If you did not try looking there all ready.

Use the CCC and look to the top left and there is "Graphic" and a down arrow, left click the arrow and there is a list of things. Go to the last one. Hope this helps. It took me a few minutes to find it the first time. ^_^

HW Monitor works, Speedfan works, GPU-Z works, CCC also works.
CPU-Z will tell your your GPU specs + clock speeds

Hmm not sure why AMD/ATi would give me a different one, I downloaded and installed the latest catalyst from their website. Maybe it's different for laptops.

I will try the utilities suggested, thanks! (Already downloaded GPU-Z, but had to do a system restore, will re-install again.)
