How do I check Motherboard model???

I need to find out which MB I have and what rev on a Poweredge 2550 server at work.

If you know please let me know...

Dell is a 1 messed up place....figure they can put in the serial number or order number and come up with specs....THEY CANT....they are asking us to find. What a bunch of idiots!!! Only way I know is taking down the server and looking at the MB itself....and thats a big if also with DELL.

Reboot. Write down the BIOS ID string at the bottom of the POST screen, and look what BIOS vendor it uses (AMI, Award, Phoenix). Then go to www.wimsbios.com to decipher the actual board vendor, proceed through to their website to find the model that looks like yours.

But with Dell sort of being Intel's retail channel, you got a 99 percent chance there is an OEM version of an Intel board in there.
