how do i check cpu temp?

i'm trying to figure out how far i can oc my a64 3000+ and would like to monitor my cpu temp ... tried mbm but it doesnt seem to read anything but voltages and cpu fan speed ... what gives?

this is a msi k8n neo2 plat mobo ...

You could try speedfan... if you mobo came with any utilities you could try those as well... I know my mobo temps can only be read by my bios and by the Uguru software so that could be the case with yours....
