msconfig if you're using win9x/me

Then download the msconfig util for Windows2000 from a few posts back, install it properly and then use it.

Under Win2K, there's four places that programs can launch themselves when you log in:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Startup Items folder for all users
Startup Items folder for current user
