ok, heres the deal...
i cannot get any better than 106 x 8 on my abit kt7 A and duron 750 cpu. any higher memory setting and everything goes ballistic. i run this setting at a core voltage of 1.725 and I/O voltage of 3.4.
my friend has the same exact hardaware, and he can run his machine at around 1 ghz, with 152 x 6.5. we reached the conclusion that its either my memory settings or i should try another cpu, maybe this one just wont oclock too well.
i dont know what my limiting factor is here, but i want to try changing the CAS configurations of my 448 SDRAM of memory, but i dont know how...i went into the BIOS settings and looked everywhere, but i found nowhere anything marked "CAS".
PLs help me, and explain to me how i can change this CAS thingy....

abit KT7A + Duron 750
106 x 8 (848 mhz) CAS ?
448 sdram
Nvidia gts 32 megs
12 gigs Bigfoot 5400 rpms

What you're looking for is SDRAM Cycle Length. This sets the CAS for the RAM. And its under Advanced Chipset Features in the BIOS on the KT7A. :D
