i know that i can change it with 'taskinfo' once i'm in windows. i want to know if there's a way to add switches to it to automatically change seti's priority when 'taskinfo' is started. or if there's any other way to do this.

Hi TuffGuy!

Have you noticed me approaching?? HeHe!! 🙂😀🙂😀

Anyway, I run SetiDriver and it allows me to set the priority of the client to High, Normal or Low. I keep it at normal and it always runs in the background. Seldom notice it while I'm running other programs. I'm not sure what you are referring to as "taskinfo", but if you are not caching WU's then you need to look at SetiDriver.

I tried sending this much earlier today, but this thing was down!

thanks guys.

yeah, i've seen you approaching... how could i not? bastard... 🙂
how many computers do you have running seti?

i'm using setiqueue right now. i'm waiting for some parts to arrive to network my second computer. i don't think that setidriver works as a host. does it?

damn... how come you're not running 3.0 cli? it's about 12% faster, and at your rate that would translate to a few extra units each day.
