Hi, i use my laptop to take notes during uni, and our prof also posts his outlines online.... however for my economics class, our teacher made it .pdf files

What program(s) could I use to change over to a .doc file without it losing its format?

when i select all text and paste, it is just text clumped together and I lose the charts and layout.

what we ended up doing for this was using a "Virtual PDF printer".

just google it, maybe you can find some info on it. it's been a while and it was for my wife's lappy - sorry not much info. hope this helps

OCR (optical character recognition) will work but if your document contains a lot of bars and graphics, you will have a bitch of a time retaining the formatting. May be easier to copy and paste in sections.

Yes, it's an MS Office plug in. Works really well.
