I just logged out - could not log back in. Got a reset password, and could log in. But!!!! I can't do anything in my profile because all of a sudden my username contains an "illegal" character. Damnation! I have used ot for more than 5 years. What gives? How can we change it without losing status? I refuse to start over!

I believe you have to PM Anandtech Moderator and tell them and they will remove the "-" in your name or change it however you work it out with them. You won't lose your status, just your -. 🙁
 
That's great - but I can't find any way to PM a Mod - i.e., Jason Clark. The PM box has no message space - just an address.

Jason Clark - please tell me how to do this - it is very frustrating.
