How do i change my IP

Hi, I would like to change my IP because I suspect someone is trying to break into my computer. How do I do that?

What kind of case are you using?

EDIT 2: Changing your IP will solve less problems than you think.
Its better to use a combo of hard and soft firewalls to block them.

Call your ISP. Tell them that you want a new IP.

Changing your IP dependes on the type and specific nature of your connection.

Why do you think that someone is breaking in, it might be the regular ping noise?
