how do i change controls in Bf2 manually??

i want to bind the button that changes firing rate (ie. burst to singleshot) to my middle mouse botton (the scroll button).. the problem is, firing rate is not listed under the controls option.. where/how do i change it? thanks in advance

I don't believe that you can.

Keep the scroll wheel for weapon switch and leave current and go back w/o selecting the other one and it switches right away... ie. ak>pistol (without selecting it) back to AK and it'll be the other... Auto/3 shooter, etc.

I'm not sure what Stout is suggesting.

The way I do it is to bind weapon select 3 to the middle mouse button. Weapon 3 is your primary weapon, and the only one with a selectable fire rate as far as I know. So pressing weapon select 3 when you have weapon 3 already selected will toggle your fire rate.

yeah i haved "F" as secondary weapon... i guess ill change secondary weapon to middle mouse button and changing firing rate to "F" ...
