How do I change assigned IRQ's?

Yerdy

Senior member
I'm running Win98SE and need to move some devices off of IRQ 11, which needs to be reserved for my Leadtek GF3 Ti200. I'm not familiar with the procedure to do this safely.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Look at your motherboard and make sure there aren't any cards right next to each other (depending on the motherboard).

That can help.

The other way in through the motherboard bios.

Usually done in Bios, you can also move your cards around to accomplish this.
Another way is to disable your serial ports in bios, that will free up an IRQ.
Also disabling your parallel port in bios if your using a USB printer.
