How do I center a desktop picture on a dual-monitor?

So I have 2 monitors set up on 1 computer and I have an image that I want to spread across both monitors.

The only thing that happens is that the whole image is put on both monitors. I want half of the image on one monitor and the other half on the other.

How can I do this?

I'm able to get these pictures to stretch out across 2 monitors, but I can't get regular pictures.

its all about the resolution. go into your favorite photo editing software. create a file that is as wide as your dual screen display. if your monitors are running at 1280x1024, make a file that is 2560x1024. get both photos, and place one on the left and one on the right. save the file, and use it.

or buy UltraMon -> http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/
