does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on capturing a winamp plugin together with music and then burning them to dvds? i've been wondering on how to go about doing this and am currently stumped. if anyone has attempted this before or even know if it can be done, please give me some advice.

thx

But the whole point of the visualization is that it goes with the music you are playing then/there. So, better yet, do you have a laptop you could connect to the TV? To go with the music playing straight to your stereo from your laptop?

I mean....I'm confused.

Output your video (svideo or composite out on video card) to your tv and output your audio to your receiver.

Well, the man has a point.
DVD-R's are less than $.50 a pop, and what's a video-out card run?
minimum of 20 or 30 bucks,
plus a spare pci slot,
plus a bunch of wires that aren't free
and may or may not be be long enough to reach the TV
which may or may not be hooked up to a stereo receiver.

edit: also portability.

running FRAPS to record Monkey on Winamp 5.03, very cool indeed ;)

You get the sound as well :D

However it rapes my frame rates (go straight down to ~20fps when i start recording :( )
