Yeah but does that mean I will have to unplug my Xbox from my TV everytime I want to record a highlight?? Is there any way I can have it connected to my comp and my TV at the same time?

If your tv has a video output then just plug that into your capture device, if that doesn't work then you can buy splitter that will give you two plugs instead of just one.

I think you can get a switchbox to let you switch back and forth without having to unplug it. You could also pass it through a VCR (not sure what connectors the XBox actually has) and then send the output to the TV via S-Video or RCA jacks and to the PC via the coax connector.

My TV has AV and S-Video....

So how would I do this? I am retarded when it comes to hooking up Video devices.

Your TV needs to have video OUTputs in order to do it by passing through the TV to your PC. Most low-end to mid-range TV's don't. If you do, then you just plug the RCA connectors from the TV to the inputs on the TV card, with the XBox plugged into the TV as normal. You could also read the TV manual to see exactly what you can do with it.

If you use a splitter, you just go buy a splitter and plug it in to everything.
