How do i can connect New Nexus with Digital TV?

Guys,U all know that New Nexus dont have any HDMI.Can u tell me how i can connect New Nexus(In very soon future i will bought it maybe) with my digital television?So i can see pictures,movies of tablets in tv. The idea of paying $30 for a Slimport adapter makes me ill. Haha. If possible, I'd recommend trying to find a $35 Chromecast instead.


Edit. Oh, I guess I should have clicked on your pictures before replying. Looks like your TV doesn't have HDMI. So the Slimport cable or Chromecast won't work for you. I don't have any other ideas. So.. I guess ignore the entire post, it's a waste of space on the Internet.


And PS. If your TV only had analog inputs, I probably would not refer to it as digital.

So does your TV have an HDMI connection or just RCA?

Was $35 when I got it then it shot up. There's others and I doubt they're any different.



If you only have RCA, this cable + slimport *might* work, but I thought HDMI didn't carry analog video, anyone confirm? Even if HDMI does, it still might not work if the Nexus/slimport only outputs the digital part, which wouldn't surprise me. Then you'd need an active digital->analog adapter

On a sidenote though, I couldn't get the Slimport to work used with a HDMI -> DVI cable to a DVI monitor, which seemed strange, I thought HDMI and DVI were pin compatible
