your name (my name their only) screen in the beginning of windows xp pro. I would like to get to the desktop automatically.


also in explorer how do I allow the favorites bookmarked to have before the web listing to have the little icon symbolizing the site instead of a generic explorer "e"?

That is terrible advice.

Here's a MS KB link on how to setup automatic login with XP. Skip all the instructions and just read the ones at the bottom for XP.
 
i don't know, it happened on my notebook.

i downloaded TweakXP and now i can automatically logon
