How do I burn .ts files to DVD?

It won't work with nero, as it says the file is over 2GB, and ISO won't support it.
Any help would be appreciated :)

can you play it? but if you can't, file might not complete

Burn it as a DVD-ROM(UDF) not DVD-ROM (ISO). Enjoying my HD versions of LOTR-FOTR, TT (EE) and ROTK. ;)

These are transport stream (*.ts) files, the way they were recorded on HDTV (HD cable box to PC via firewire). It's possible to convert the ts files to *.vob files, but there might be loss in quality (video and audio). Just save them as ts files on a dvd and watch them in your PC, like I do. Not sure if there are home/consumer dvd players that play TS files, TV studios might have them.
