How do I burn an iso to a blank DVD?

I have an ISO file that I want to burn to a blank DVD. When I try burning it, Nero gives me an error saying that I can't burn this file to this type of disc. How can I go about burning this ISO to a blank DVD?

What kind of iso is it? was it a cd? Try changing the file extension to .nrg, Seems like I have done that beofre. If that won't work, dvd decrypter is great for burning iso's.

I don't have any blank CDs. All I have are blank DVDs.

If it's a bootable ISO you may need to do a little extra work.

I'm not sure what Nero is capable of anymore, but I think it can extract boot images off of ISOs, if so, make a Bootable DVD - with the extracted boot sector. Then copy the files on the ISO onto the DVD and burn.

I'm tired... sorry if some of this is vague...

Guys, this has nothing to do with DVD-Video... DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn, etc are not what he's looking for.

This is about burning a BOOTABLE CD image onto a DVD for hard drive diagnostic use.

op - why don't you just go buy some cdrs? hell you can pick them up at walgreens now...

there are quite a few, imgburn(since it appears to be the burning part of dvd decrypter), dvd decrypter work very well. even nero would work, but the op is trying to burn a cd image to a dvd....as stated by Continuity28

What are you on??? Imgburn will burn the iso file fine on any media. The image is SELF boot, maxtor can't expect people to make a boot cd on their own.
