I downloaded Coral Linux and I'm using Nero 5.035 but can't seem to get it to burn the ISO file so that it is bootable. It just burned it as one file not in the seperate files that are required to make a bootable CD-rom.

Anybody know how to do it ?????????????

I haven't used nero, but there should be an option like "burn from am image" . Works in ezcd creator..

Heh. I had this exact same question a while ago.

File | Burn Image
Files of Type All Files (*.*)
Find your ISO, choose it, just accept the default settings in the next menu that pops up.

The next menu after that should be your options for burning. Choose what you want, burn, and voila! You have a CD! :)

Now, whether or not it is bootable depends if the ISO was flagged as being bootable by whomever made it. (or however you want to say it, it has to be done by whomever created the ISO AFAIK) Since it's a linux distro CD direct from Corel (and because I've burned my own image of it in the past) it is bootable, so you don't have to worry 'bout that one.

Enjoy! :)

An ISO is a direct image of whatever the original CD was. Therefore, if the original was bootable then so will be the ISO. If the original (from whence the ISO was made) was not bootable then the resultant burn from that ISO will not be bootable.

Hope that helps.

What is with programs being too stupid to burn the industry standard for CD images (ie. ISO) correctly? That is just dumb.

Nero is a good software for burning CD's, but why they choose to make buring a ISO so damn difficult is amazing to me.
