How do I burn a CD?

I have a new computer with CD burner and CD ROM in same drive. The software is Nero v5.5.
Could someone please give me step by step directions how to save files and copy a CD using the CD burner.

Use the Wizard. It's pretty self-explanatory after that.

Just start Nero and when the wizard starts pick CD, next pick compile new CD, next pick wether you want to make an audio or data CD, next pick create a new data CD, click finish and when the filebrowser screen pops up on the right just open the folder that has the files you want to copy in it E.G. "My Documents" folder, click on the file/files you want to copy and drag them over to the blank window on the left and drop them there by letting go of the mouse button. Then all you have to do to burn them is go to the tool bar at the top of the screen and click on the 9th icon from the left (looks like a little CD with fire coming off it) and it'll open the write CD screen. Then just click burn and it'll do it's thing 🙂 To copy a whole CD just pick copy CD instead of compile new CD when you open the wizard and it'll walk you through that as well, have fun with your new best friend 😀
