how do i burn a CD from tracks downloaded from iTunes and MSN Music (wma files)

i've been burning to cd and ripping to mp3 to burn onto cd again (so i can get all the compilations on one cd) ... but the quality which is arguably not "cd quality" to begin with gets progressively worse with this process. any ideas?
