Anubis

No Lifer
its bout time i did my anual format/reinstall of windows, only think i cant figure out how to back up is my email in Thunderbird

i have it checking 4 email accounts, 1 IMAP and 3 POP3

is there a super easy way to do this so i can easily import them again and have all my settings and stuff all correct?

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles

if I recall correctly
I just backed that up to dif HD, installed windows, install TB and copied that back over to the new HD.
Voila!

Im sure there are some homebrew programs that do a "backup" of it though, but I dont see the bother. Try google if you want to take that route.

Just want to say......I'm a TBird convert! In fact, I'm so sick and tired of Agent draggin their heals while simultaneously ripping off customers by taking payment for upgrades that never materialize.....I now use TBird for newsgroups too. It ain't the best but it is good enough. Anyway, NG reading ain't what it once was.
