As most people might have already figured out, I am making a lame attempt at getting into the ice hockey sport... This guy I got my skates from just sent me a pair of skate guards

The ones that look like a nike swoosh, and they come w/ these little elastic things... They have what look like teeth on the understand...

How do I apply them to my hockey skates??

Thanks =)

Agghh Don't use those, just buy the cheap cloth ones, and don't walk around with them anyway( even if you use those elastic things.) There are all different kinds, but the object is to put that nike swoosh thing into the back side of the skate, and the other part is in front. It's pretty easy, but you may have to customize it for the size. The more expensive ones that I used to have ( even though they suck yes I owned them) required me to unscrew the sides and then adjust it.

Also make sure your skate is COMPLETELY dry before you put it away, you can easily bring a hand towel or whatever with you. Like I said, I reccommend the cloth ones, and they are real cheap and easy to find.
