how do i add a link in my profile

I am not sure what html to put in my profile, so that i can put a link in it, i gave it a shot, and it just showed me the text back to me instead of following the html. Does the profile format require a <html> </html> ?
 
Type in ;

[L= whatever header you want], then the link and finish it off with [ / L ]
 
Do it like this (copy and paste this exactly as I have typed it):

[L=My Heatware]http://www.heatware.com/eval.php4?id=20381[/L]
 
if you are wanting to link your heatware evals in the heatware field, forget about it. the parser evidently doensn't go through there looking for symbols.
