I have a soundblaster live value and my labtec pulse 424 speakers and I want to add my old speakers that came with the pc, it has multiple jacks but I have no idea what to do.

Get a Y cable splitter from Radio Shack. I use 2 of em, I have 2 sets of speakers and my headphones all hooked up at the same time. Some people never use them, say it degrades the quality, but it's too damn convenient having them all hooked up so easily.

Do you want to add the second set of speakers for "surround sound" or just for more sound up front? Your SBlive should have a second jack labeled "rear speakers". You can plug into that for surround. If you want more sound up front, just get a "Y" connector from Radio Shack. Like $1.99...cheep.

Personally, I would think that two different sets of speakers would sound crappy. They aren't matched to each other. But it's your system. Good luck.

Well if you want to set them up as rears for a 4 point setup you don't need a Y-Splitter...but hook them up to the Black line-out (Black=Rear, Green=Front).

If you do want them as an extra set of front speakers, I believe that if you set the SBLive to 2 speaker mode it duplicates the front channel to both line-outs so you get a built in Y-spliiter :)
