The first one has been posted before. You just have edit your sysoc.inf file (I forget where it is), and remove the HIDE from the msmsg line. Then you can add/remove it. It will appear under the windows components section. An easier way might be just to delete the directory and remove the line in your registry.

To enable java, just windows update and download the JVM. Hope this helps.

I just removed mine last night. Start>Run type in "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" without the quotes will take care of it.
