How do enable DualChannel on MSI Neo2 Plat

I have a AMD64 and a MSI Neo2 Plat mobo and 2 sticks of patriot 512 PC3200 for a total of 1GB of ram. The ram is in the two green slots. When I boot up the bios says that it is running the RAM in Single Channel mode. In the mobo manual it says to specifically run the ram in the two green slots for dual channel and i cant find any options in the bios to enable it. Can someone please tell me how to enable dual channel!?

THanks!

I just bought the same Motherboard and I had the same problem. The fix is to ignore the books explanation and seat the ram in the first two slots. at boot it will register as dual channel. I followed the books instructions and put the ram in the #1 and #3 slots and it registered as single and the CPU was clocked at 1.2 Ghz. So slot one and two will correct this problem. Good luck!

The green slots are of a single channel. The purple slots are of a single channel. If you want to run in Dual Channels then you have a put a stick in the both the green AND a stick in the purple.

The Manual srongly recommends that you populate the green channel with a stick of memory before your stuff one into a purple slot.

I've had good success with 1 and 2 or with 3 and 4
