Yep, same here, headed down the toilet, already seperated from #2, doesn't it feel strange considering being married for a 3rd time eventually?

That's so 80's

Sorry to hear that.

I've read that the failure rate of second marriages is 60%.

first one is like 48%... So you're about 50/50 in marriages in USA... :)

What??

I'm sorry ... I got carried away with the subject title and got a little philosophical. I didn't realize at first that the original poster just wanted individual experiences and perceptions.

Basically, what I was trying to say was that I don't think anyone really knows. We do believe that we know, but we do not. We can only hope and put in our own efforts, but we never know if our SO would make just as much effort and determination. Counting 10 years isn't enough to "know". On the other hand, I could see how intuitively we could know. However, can the intuition be relied upon? Is intuition sufficient to "know" and everything hunky-dory?

I'm just waiting to find out if my own intuition is right or if I'm out of what's left of my mind. I'll get back to you in 4-5 years.

In your case, your intuition is so wrong! Trust me! Well, my intuition is telling me that anyway. *Sigh!*

You can't get or expect much without putting much work into the relationship.
