When I was a youngster I jumped on a Suzuki RM80, gave it some gas, popped the clutch and away I went.

Don't start out with a bike that's too big. If you buy the fastest bike now, you'll have nothing to look forward to, and you'll probably never want to ride again.

Same here, but it was a dual carb honda XR250. Dumb move. Built for climbing.

just passed the MSF a couple weeks ago but I still haven't rode on a sports bike. Looking forward to it.
