How did you learn about AT?

A friend of mine ran a website (Gamingin3d.com). The site is still up, although we dont do any more reviews. Anyways, I used to come to anandtech to read reviews. One day I had a question, so I registered on the forums, and got my answer. I found my way into ATOT, and here I am today.

Someone should have shot me years ago.

First learned of it through a pop-up. When i was visiting some website, then the Anandtech ad popped up with some interesting hardware review topics. I clicked through it, enjoyed reading some articles that were up at that time. THen I joined AT forums couple months later

i got turned on to the forums, when a girl i was seeing, said hey you should go to these forums they have all these hot deals and free stuff.

and now i'm approaching lifer status.

Found the reviews there awesome (some of the first video reviews?) and then decided to check out their FS/FT forum.

Everyone at AGN hated the AT Forum goers, but when AGN slowed down/shut down (?) I had to go to AT.

I found this site out through an online bud of mine. He was very knowledeable with computers so I asked how he learned all this information. He passed this site along with AGN3D and a bunch of other hardware related sites and I just got hooked, instantly.
