How did you guys study for the GMAT?

I'm going to start studying for the GMAT soon, and I was wondering what methods/tools you guys used to study for the exam. How effective was your method of studying?

im curious as well. The GF picked up a GMAT for dummies book so I plan on using that but beyond that I really dont know.

What's the GMAT? When I was in high school, we had SAT's. Are SAT's still around? What the hell's a GMAT?

The GMAT is an exam used for Graduate school admission. Im specifically taking it to get into an MBA program.

You have a BA/BS. Great. You still have to take a test to get into the MA/MS/whatever program of your choice?

I thought if you had the GPA and the money for tuition, that was it. What's the deal? Unless you're going to be a Doctor, lawyer, EE or macrobiologist, all the colleges want is your money.

i took classes for GMAT, beats the shiit out of studying by your self, but then again its expensive!

you can also study and take mock exams from the gmat cd that comes with the book!
also make sure you study every day even if its for half an hour. don't procrastinate until the last week!
