When I was five my mother gave me "The Big Book of the Body" and said, "If you have any questions, ask." What with the pictures, I pretty much had it figured out five minutes later. I remember that I was five because she was pregnant with my little brother who is six years younger.

I got busted playing doctor with a neighbor girl when I was ten.

I slept through "sex education" in fifth grade, and passed the "test". (They made us label the labia and vas deferens and such.)

I had a subscription to playboy when I was 14. (I used the playboy stamp from the Publisher's Clearinghouse entry. When the first magazine arrived my mom took one look at it and said, "I think this is yours.")

In ninth grade I read The Story of "O".

Some time in highschool I read the Marquis de Sade.

It's been a fun ride since then.

Well, since my period started a couple of months after my tenth birthday and no one had given me 'the talk' yet, I did the research and found out for myself what it was all about.

There was also quite a bit of "If you show me yours, I'll show you mine" going on in the neighborhood....

As a parent, I have a policy of being relatively open and accessible about the subject so that my kids won't have any misconceptions of *any* kind, heh...

<< I am surprised by the number of votes school received :Q >>

I voted for school. It's not because they taught me about it in school. It's because I learned form the other kids on the playground.

wow. never thought about it, but at age 7, 2nd grade, me and a friend of mine found this book at another friend's house, and we all thought the pictures on the cover were interesting enough for us to actually read what it was about, after first page it was too late... anyway, the really weird part is that that other friend, was a girl, and we all read that book together, neither of us knowing anything before reading it, and now i think it must have been way weird, but at the time it didnt seem to bother me. more specific details i got from pr0n and a sex-ed lecture by a doctor our teacher brought to class, at age ~12.

3rd grade.. My friend told me..

My friend was told in around 2nd grade with his little brother. Their mother gave them a condom and said this is what they use for save sex. Needless to say, when you're in second grade and you can fill up this device with water.. Water Balloon fight :D

I don't know, I'm not really sure. I knew about it before sex ed in 5th grade, so I guess either my parents told me about it, my friends and I figured it out, or it had something to do with all that fuzzy porn I watched as a kid.

I'm dredging tonight ;)

I still can't believe nobody got the lowdown from their brothers

Maybe that was a fallacy I had implanted from watching too much 'family tv' :Q
