How did you feel about your first "real" job?

Ohh trust me buddy, my girlfriend used to go to an all girls catholic high school. Skirts/kilts, navy blue knee high socks. It is ftw I wouldnt want to work in one, way too tempting, id die.

It isn't horrible for an entry level position.

Blegh. I hated my first job. Winn-Dixie meat dept. FTL. The actually job wasn't that bad, but I had an asshole boss and cleaning up at the end of the day would take hours. Not to mention the sh1tty discount and the fact that I smelled like meat. I did learn alot about different cuts and such.

Useful? Career path? LOL Uhm, no. I needed to help out my mom with money for frivolities such as rent and food (okay, maybe useful is applicable) so when I was 17 I got a job at K-Mart. I thought I was way cool because I made $.10 above minimum wage. $4.35/hr HAHAHAHAHA

First real job was when i was 16 and working in a beef slaughter house.
Second real job was probably when i was 21 and working in a porn shop.

Porn shop was slightly better than the slaughter house.

I assumed my first REAL job was when I got into my current profession usually after college? Sounds like most people are mentioning their first high school minimum wage job. I sure don't count that as my REAL job as in being on my own and getting benefits and whatnot.
