How did you end up where your currently living?

I'm still at home. going for a better job, and shooting to move out within a year or 2.
my parents like me there, and i like being there.. so there is no real reason for me to hurry and get out. i'm an only child anyways.

I have lived here (Dallas) all my life. The pay here is nice.

Born in MA
Moved to FL w/ my 'rents when my Dad got a new job.
Moved to another town in FL (<20miles) when my Dad's job moved him away and I was then old enough and financially ready to move out.
Moved to another town in FL (<6miles) after I got married and we decided to get a bigger home.
And here I am, still in S.FL.

When I was in college I thought I'd want to move to N.Carolina to settle down, but, I've grown accustomed to S.FL and don't really want to move.

Moved here from northern lower michigan to stay close to my son. His mother decided to move on 2 days notice, could have gotten custody, but the poor kid had no choice in the divorce, so I sure wasn't going to take his mom away from him also. :-( So here I am a water person living in the middle of the friggin country, with not a decent lake in sight, for the forseeable future.
