Here is my story:

I used to work for Whole Foods Market here in La Jolla (San Diego) and these two ladies (Mother and Daughter) would come in every night right before closing at 10pm. And they would buy 2lbs of ground hamburger every night at that time. It pissed off the guys in the meat department since they had everything all put away. Everybody started calling them the "Hamburgerpimps" for some reason. So, I stole the name for the forums.

I must get a couple people each week ask me this question, so there it is, if anybody is wondering.

I'm in a Starcraft clan where we all have japanese sounding names.
It was picked randomly from a book or anime movie or something.

I've used it ever since, because my name before that is much to commonly used.
How I got that name was very strange....I was driving to a city where my high-school best friend grew up. And one of his old friends I had just met was riding shotgun, he turned around pointed at me and named me Snarf.

I have been such ever since...the name sort of just stuck...
But snarf is always used everywhere, so I've taken my SC clan nick because it's not usually in use.
 
I went to court to have my name changed to "WombatWoman", since I was not happy with my given name of "MarsupialMatron". "WallabyWench" and "KangarooKid" were already taken.
 
After a tune by the soucous master, Papa Wemba. For most of you that will make no sense what so ever, I know.....
