How did you all hear about Anandtech?

How did all you folks learn about/find Anandtech? Did a friend tell you about it, did you find it on accident? I'll share mine first:
When I was looking for a good video card last year, it was between the 7800GT and the 6800GT and my brother found me some benchmarks on the main website and then I found the forums here and I joined, idr the exact reason why I joined though.
 
Two years ago, when I built my current rig, I was having some problems getting the Heatsink/Fan to clamp properly on top of my CPU. I googled "AMD CPU Heatsink problems" or something like that and Anandtech was one of the first sites to come up 🙂 I've been a frequent reader since then.

ETA - Oh noes. I'm at 5554.
 
A representative of Anandtech put a gun to my head and told me that I had to start posting here... or else.

It's like a weekly thing or something... and I came here by the word of Google for help on cooling my PC down.
 
I've been a visitor of the site since ~1998 when I was building my first computer as a sophomore in HS.

I don't really remember how I found it. My best guess is that it popped up on a web search for some specific part I was researching and I stuck with it as my main tech info site after that.

I know that I'd been frequenting the site for a LONG time before I discovered the magical little "forums" link...
 
October of 2004, when I dreamed of getting a new PC. I was mostly concerned with the Video forum, but then I ventured into OT... and subsequently, got banned for a week (and not long after that, a permban warning). I cleaned up my act (for the most part) and here I am.
 
Was building a new computer, cousin (IT guy) told me of a great deal on GeForce 2's in the FS/FT. Registered. Lurked every since.
 
Way back in the day I was a frequent at the Rage3d Forums. Deviated away from there gradually due to a few google searches with answers pointing to the General Hardware on AT.
 
A guy I hung out with said that his home page was anandtech (he was a nerd), so I clicked, then clicked on forums, and got sucked it like a black hole sucks up light...it's hopeless...
I'll never get out...🙁
